Alienware's current intel barebone media center has been replaced by someinth much more impressive, The DHS A series. The all-in-one system combines a powerful AMD-based digital media platform with PC functionality and an AVR-class internal audio amplifier.The Alienware DHS A Series is an AMD LIVE!T full-featured media center computer powered by the award-winning AMD AthlonT 64x2 dual-core processor.

At the heart of the DHS A Series amplifier lays an advanced D2Audio Digital Audio EngineT (DAE-1) Class-D PWM controller with an integrated DSP.D2Audio is known for high quality sound and as the first digital amplifier company to meet THX Ultra2® performance levels.This D2Audio amplifier was specifically engineered for use inside digital media devices.
